Retro Styler is an online store that provides homeware, gifts and games from different eras. The objective was to produce an online presence that focused on the products and ranges from the different periods. The website also needed to adopt existing trends from online stores, whilst allowing customers to tailor their experience.
Client: Retro Styler
Project: Website
Role: UX/UI

The idea of the homepage was to not just show a generic landing page but to empower customers with the ability to tailor what they wanted to see. A slider was introduced so customers could select between different periods, with the corresponding products being updated on the homepage. This powerful feature meant that new customers could tailor their experience without having to register, adding inspiration and relevant content directly to the homepage.

Product pages were designed to be modular so the layout could adapt based on the type of product shown. Homeware, clothing and games would list modules in different hierarchy order so the most relevent information would be presented.
